The app is available on App store! Simply search for “HeadCheck” or click this link to download the app for your iPhone, iPod or iPad.
Our product is based on testing methods which requires a medical professional to interpret. If you don’t have a medical professional working wit your team already, we might be able to recommend one. Send us a note if you’re interested in using HeadCheck with your sports teams and let’s get a conversation started.
Yes! We’d love to work with your clinic! Please contact us using the form above and we’ll get touch with you to get to the next steps.
The HeadCheck app is based on today’s gold standard concussion assessment methods. We have tried to use technology to the best of our abilities in order to improve the way we collect data and test the athletes. The biggest change that will be introduced through the HeadCheck app is a new way of objectively measuring the BESS test – the gold-standard balance test. We’re really excited about this new way of counting balance errors because it has improved the reliability of that particular test from somewhere between 40-60% up to over 91%. We’re happy to answer any other questions you might have about the app, but definitely recommend you take a look at some of the information on our website.
It sure is! And it’s available in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, United Kingdom and Ireland.
We definitely have the android app expansion on our list of things to do! For the immediate future, we want to make sure that we’ve got the iOS version right before expanding to anything else. Our founding team members love our android phones so, like you, we look forward to having something ready for android devices. We recommend that you sign up for updates so that we can send you a note once the android app becomes available.
Absolutely! We’re looking at adding in some visual motor tests and even some response time tests in the new year, but if there’s something you’d like to see, we’re all ears! Send us a note and we’ll happily take the feedback moving forward.
