BGCSTL after-school sports programs will use HEADCHECK’s digital platform for concussion recognition and management.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis (‘BGCSTL’) is thrilled to announce a new partnership with HEADCHECK Health (‘HEADCHECK’), which will enhance concussion recognition and management for its after-school sports, fitness, and recreation programs.

BGCSTL will utilize HEADCHECK’s industry-leading digital platform to simplify their concussion protocol process ensuring the safest environment possible for their young athletes.

“Following a successful pilot we felt implementing HEADCHECK at BGCSTL would increase safety for youth sports,” said Ja’Mes A. Davis, Senior Director of Safety & Security at BGCSTL.

BGCSTL President Dr. Flint Fowler added: “It’s incredibly important to continually improve safety measures for our young athletes.”

“I’m very proud that we can support a great organization like BGCSTL in providing a safe sports option for young athletes,” said Harrison Brown, CEO and Co-Founder at HEADCHECK. “With HEADCHECK in place, BGCSTL will be well equipped to handle any suspected concussions that occur.”

HEADCHECK was created in 2013 from a concussion research lab to address a critical challenge in sports: the complexity of implementing concussion protocols leaves athletes and organizations vulnerable to risk.

Thousands of sports leagues, governing bodies, and regulators, including MLS, the BCHL, and the CFL, rely on HEADCHECK’s digital platform. Notably, HEADCHECK has been relied on in some of the world’s most prestigious sporting events, including the Olympics and Tour de France. Learn more at headcheckhealth.com
